Three New Managers Help Drive Casino and Resort's Marketing Initiatives
SALT RIVER PIMA-MARICOPA INDIAN COMMUNITY, Ariz., July 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Casino Arizona, an enterprise of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC), announced the appointment of three new managers to its team to support the promotional and advertising initiatives of the casino and its sister property, Talking Stick Resort. Bringing a combined 36 years of experience to both properties, these new managers are set to contribute to each property's commitment to providing guests with unforgettable experiences during each visit.
"We have expanded our marketing department to include these great individuals who offer a wealth of experience and knowledge of the gaming and hospitality industry," said Peter Arceo, senior director of sales and marketing for Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort. "I greatly admire their ability to think outside the ordinary, which will take our properties above and beyond the competition."
In the position of database marketing manager, Shane Still brings 13 years of experience to Casino Arizona. A new position in the marketing team, the database marketing manager oversees the direct mail processes and evaluates the effectiveness of the property's current direct marketing programs.
This position also allows Still to identify the wants and needs of customers. "A good reinvestment strategy is key," said Still. "Good database management is essential in recognizing what we need to invest in to help maintain positive relationships with guests and ensure their experiences on our property are good ones."
David Hielscher, the newly appointed advertising manager, spent more than 10 years working with Casino Arizona and its sister property as the director of gaming groups for RIESTER, the enterprises' advertising agency. He also served as advisor of marketing and advertising production with Cliff Castle Casino Hotel in Mesa Verde, Ariz.
In his new role, Hielscher's responsibilities include assisting in the development of marketing strategies and brand planning for both enterprises with adherence to the marketing plan, as well as the creation and implementation of collateral materials in support of each property's gaming, dining and entertainment efforts.
"Our main goal is to make sure we're taking the necessary steps to continuously improve and promote all aspects of the resort and casino," says Hielscher. "Our property's diverse, entertainment-driven culture and convenient locations allow us limitless opportunities for future expansion and development."
Also new to the properties is Eric Ramsey. Joining as the bingo manager, Ramsey will oversee operations of the new bingo department including game promotions and schedules. Bingo is the latest endeavor for Casino Arizona for which it will open a new 26,000 square-foot facility. The new bingo hall is currently under construction and is slated to open in Oct.
Ramsey has dedicated more than 10 years to the gaming and hospitality industry and credits good training and participation in various leadership programs to his ability to always provide an enjoyable experience to visitors.
