Casey Quirk Appoints Yariv Itah as Managing Partner and Jonathan Doolan, Jeffrey Stakel Directors
DARIEN, Conn., Jan. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Casey, Quirk & Associates LLC, a leading management consulting firm to the global asset management industry, announces the appointment of Yariv Itah to the newly created position of managing partner, and Jonathan L. Doolan and Jeffrey B. Stakel as directors, effective immediately.
The appointment of Mr. Itah, 44, as Casey Quirk's first managing partner is a reflection of the firm's business growth in advising many of the world's leading traditional and alternative asset managers. In fewer than five years, Casey Quirk has more than doubled its revenues and consulting staff.
"Yariv is a highly experienced and talented executive and was the logical choice among the Casey Quirk partners to assume this new role following the firm's expansion in recent years,'' said Kevin P. Quirk, co-founder and partner. "With Yariv in charge of managing our firm, Casey Quirk's senior team is afforded the opportunity to spend more time adding value to our clients."
Mr. Itah has been with Casey Quirk since 2001, and was appointed partner in 2006. As managing partner, he oversees strategy and management for the firm, and will continue to advise clients. As Casey Quirk expands its offerings to clients in the coming years, Yariv will spearhead the firm's growth efforts. Previously, Yariv managed the firm's talent acquisition and development program, corporate development activities, and partner management forums. His client assignments have included advising traditional and alternative asset managers on corporate strategy, economic alignment, and distribution and sales, and he was lead author of When the Tide Turns: Building Next Generation Fixed Income Managers, a Casey Quirk whitepaper published in May 2013.
Mr. Doolan, 29, has over seven years of industry experience and joined Casey Quirk in 2007. Before his appointment as director, he was a senior manager at the firm, serving the firm's clients with his work on international markets, institutional distribution, and organization design. Jonathan was co-author of the November 2013 Casey Quirk whitepaper Life After Benchmarks: Retooling Active Asset Management.
Jonathan graduated from the University of Colorado–Boulder in 2007 with BAs in Economics and International Affairs.
Mr. Stakel, 34, has 11 years of industry experience and joined Casey Quirk in 2009. As senior manager before his appointment as director, Jeff worked with the firm's traditional and hedge fund clients on fixed income redesign, distribution organization benchmarking and design, and product positioning. He was co-author of the May 2013 Casey Quirk whitepaper When the Tide Turns: Building Next Generation Fixed Income Managers.
Before joining Casey Quirk, Jeff was an assistant vice president at AllianceBernstein. He graduated with a B.B.A. in Finance and Operations Management from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and earned an M.B.A with a concentration in Strategy and Decision Sciences from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
"Jeff and Jonathan have proven to be highly effective members of our firm," said Yariv Itah. "We're delighted to appoint both to the firm's senior leadership ranks, in recognition of their contributions to Casey Quirk and our clients."
