LANSING, Mich., Nov. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- For the second time in 2017 CASE Credit Union has been recognized as one of the best places to work. On Sunday, The Detroit Free Press awarded CASE with a Top Workplaces honor. In September, CASE was selected from a national pool as one of 2017's Best Credit Unions to Work For by the Credit Union Journal.
"Receiving awards like the Best Credit Unions to Work For and Top Workplace, validates our commitment to providing our employees with a positive work environment that challenges and encourages them to develop personally and professionally," stated Jeffrey Benson, President/CEO.
Both awards utilized employee feedback surveys, and analysis of workplace culture, policies, and alignment to determine the winners.
Determining the Best Credit Unions to Work For involved a two-step process. The first step consisted of evaluating each participating credit union's workplace policies, practices, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of employee surveys aimed at assessing the experiences and attitudes of individual employees with respect to their workplace. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the best credit unions and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final ranking.
The Detroit Free Press's Top Workplaces lists are based on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by Energage, LLC (formerly WorkplaceDynamics), a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. Several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including Alignment, Execution, and Connection, just to name a few.
"We are extremely honored to achieve these awards, especially as the judges were our employees," said Dione Peña, Vice President of Human Resources & Marketing.
