SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Diablo Technologies today announced that United States District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers ordered the full bond posted by Netlist Inc. (NLST) be paid to Diablo in partial compensation for the profits it lost because it was wrongfully enjoined. The Court also denied Netlist's motion to set aside the jury verdict and denied Netlist's request for a new trial. Additionally, Diablo was declared the victor in the lawsuit, concluding Case No. 4:13cv- 05962 YGR in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
"The judge's ruling reaffirms Diablo's position from the outset," said Riccardo Badalone, CEO and Co-founder of Diablo Technologies. "We look forward to continuing to deliver innovative solutions such as our Memory Channel Storage™ platform and newly announced Memory1™ to our customers."
Today's rulings conclude the case brought by Netlist, which proceeded to trial on March 9, 2015. Following a two-week trial period, the jury ruled unanimously in favor of Diablo on Netlist's attempt to grasp at Diablo's market leading software / hardware memory channel solutions. Today's final judgment formally closes the case with this Court.
