Cascade Bancorp (Oregon) Amends Press Release Dated August 2, 2010

BEND, Oregon, Aug. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- On August 2, 2010, Cascade Bancorp ("Cascade") (Nasdaq: CACB) announced it had filed a complaint against Cohen & Company Financial Management, LLC.  The Press Release defines Cohen & Company Financial Management, LLC as "Cohen Financial."  Cascade wishes to clarify that the complaint was filed against Cohen & Company Financial Management, LLC and not the separate and distinct entity Cohen Financial.  In addition, Cascade notes that Cohen Financial is not named in the complaint and apologizes for any confusion the use of the defined term "Cohen Financial" might have caused.
