ISLANDIA, N.Y., Feb. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CA (Nasdaq: CA) today announced that Galina Datskovsky, PH.D., CRM, distinguished engineer and senior vice president of Architecture, has been named president-elect of ARMA International, a not-for-profit professional association and a leading authority on records and information management. Information is at the center of everything an organization does: strategy management, research and development, governance and compliance. Enterprises need to control and discover information across the enterprise to reduce the costs associated with compliance and litigation. Managing information throughout its lifecycle is key, and records managers need to get the right information to make better decisions and to minimize the cost of collecting and reviewing information. To help facilitate enterprise-wide compliance, information management professionals turn to the resources and leadership provided by ARMA International. CA, Inc. has been a long-time supporter of ARMA International and is pleased to have Datskovsky serve as president-elect of the association.
"It's an honor to serve and contribute even further to ARMA -- an organization that has helped define an entire industry," said Datskovsky. "I'm excited to be involved in the leadership of the association, and I look forward to participating in the growth of ARMA as it helps guide the future of the records and information management industry."
