Carsforsale.com Announces 2014 Bracket Showdown Sweepstakes

SIOUX FALLS, S.D., March 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Carsforsale.com, one of the fastest-growing and most popular automotive classifieds website on the Internet, has announced their first ever online media automotive bracket promotion.   The Carsforsale.com 'Battle of the Best' Bracket Showdown is built as a head-to-head, single elimination, multi-round tournament of the general public's vehicle favorites.

Starting today, Facebook users can access "Round One" of this free promotion.   Matchups are based within vehicle categories, and then ranked based on their site's traffic popularity -- the 64-vehicle field includes 16 of the most popular models in the Sedan, Coupe, SUV/ Crossover, and Truck/Van categories.    Voting will take place via an application hosted on the Carsforsale.com Facebook Page.   This promotion will consist of six rounds of voting, with the highest-voted vehicles from each rounds' matchups moving to the next round of voting, until only one remains.

Participants are eligible to vote in each round, choosing their favorite vehicles to advance to the next round.  Carsforsale.com prize packs will be awarded to winners drawn at random after each round of voting.  After five rounds of voting, two vehicles will remain and a championship round will be held.  After which, the grand prize winner of a $500 Visa Gift Card, will be drawn.

The voting schedule is as follows, participants are encouraged to come back and vote in each round:
Round 1 – March 13th to March 17th
Round 2 – March 18th to March 22nd
Round 3 – March 23rd to March 26th
Round 4 – March 27th to March 30th
Round 5 – March 31st to April 3rd
Round 6 – April 4th to April 7th
