Carol Hempfling Pratt Named Senior Vice President/General Counsel

BOSTON, June 21 /PRNewswire/ -- The Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston (the Bank) has named Carol Hempfling Pratt as senior vice president/general counsel. Ms. Pratt will also serve as corporate secretary and as a member of the Bank's Management Committee.

Ms. Pratt comes to the Bank from the Boston Law firm of Foley Hoag LLP, where she has served since 1984 and became partner in 1993. Her practice largely focused on financial institutions of varying sizes and charters, for whom she provided counsel on a wide range of transactional, operational, governance, and regulatory issues, including matters related to Securities and Exchange Commission registration and disclosure.

Ms. Pratt earned a B.A. in political science from Northwestern University, and a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law.
