Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute Announces 9th Annual SEI Architecture Conference

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute (SEI) recently announced that the ninth annual SEI Architecture Technology User Network (SATURN) Conference will be held in Minneapolis, Minn., April 29 to May 3, 2013. The Call for Submissions is now open.

The SATURN Conference is the flagship event of the SEI Architecture User Network, a community of architecture practitioners and researchers from around the world. The annual software architecture conference is held to provide practicing software architects, industry thought leaders, developers, technical managers, and researchers with a venue to meet, share ideas, network, and learn about new and current architecture technologies and practices.

For the fourth year, IEEE Software magazine will collaborate with the SEI on the SATURN Conference. The extended collaboration continues to enhance the conference experience for participants with talks by IEEE Software board members, networking events, and the opportunity to be published in an issue of IEEE Software magazine.

The SATURN 2013 technical program will cover topics including, but not limited to

experiences and insights designing and developing front- and back-end architectures
lessons learned from successes and failures with integration
application of methods and tools, and
technical leadership
