Craig Scott brought the lawsuit against The Saxton Group L.L.C., McAlister's largest franchisee; Kimco Temple LP, a New York-based real estate investment trust; and Temple Towne Center L.L.C. As a result of these companies' negligence, he suffered serious injuries in October 2015 when a wet tile fell from the restaurant's ceiling while he was eating dinner with his wife. For the last several years, Scott has endured mounting medical bills and job loss as a result of this unreasonably dangerous condition.
