Carlson Cares Hosting First Annual Thanksgiving Dinner In-a-Basket Giveaway In Bryan

BRYAN, Texas, Nov. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Carlson Cares, the charitable arm of The Carlson Law Firm will host its first annual Thanksgiving In-a-Basket Giveaway on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the parking lot of our Bryan office, located at 1121 Briarcrest Dr suite 200, Bryan, TX 77802. This special event is in part thanks to several sponsors who have joined us in creating a positive impact on our community during the holiday season.

The Carlson Cares Thanksgiving Dinner In-a-Basket Giveaway will feed 50+ families in the Bryan community. With the support of our donors, each basket will include the following Thanksgiving meal items:

$25 gift card from HEB to cover the cost of a turkey
Canned vegetables
Box of mashed potatoes
Rolls
Stuffing mix
Gravy
Pie crust and filling

In addition to the basket giveaway, we will also have fun and festive activities for area children to participate in. Children can enjoy face painting, beanbag toss and a turkey walk—similar to a cakewalk.

In addition, we will host a turkey or pumpkin coloring contest where children will be entered to win a toy or game basket. We will have hot chocolate, coffee and cookies.
