The Traditional Italian Bakery Introduces Full-Scale Bakery to Mall of America®
JERSEY CITY, N.J., Sept. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- On Saturday, September 30, 2017, Carlo's Bakery will celebrate the grand opening of the famous bakery's first midwest location at Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. This will be the 21st location for the recognized brand most known as the setting of the hit TLC series, Cake Boss, following a series of highly attended openings throughout the United States.
The 1,972 square foot Carlo's Bakery offers mall-goers a taste of the brand's signature treats including the cannoli, lobster tail, cupcakes and more. The bakery will also produce sensational custom cakes that made the family-run brand famous. Located in the Mall of America's Culinary on North (Level 3), the bakery will serve as the first midwest outpost whipped up to satisfy a sweet tooth seeking high quality, traditional Italian desserts baked fresh daily on premises.
"When our father bought Carlo's Bakery in the 1960s, it was his dream to make the bakery a household name and when he passed, it became our dream. Now, we're not quite there just yet but announcing that we're going to open our doors at Mall of America is surreal," states Buddy Valastro. The grand opening of Carlo's Bakery at Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota will be celebrated on Saturday, September 30, 2017. Buddy Valastro and his family will hold the brand's traditional ribbon cutting ceremony at 7:00am. Immediately following the ceremony, the bakery will open for business with meet-and-greet opportunities available to patrons.
