In addition to his practice, Carlos recently became Assistant Professor of the University Of Central Florida School Of Medicine. He is affiliated with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, and enjoys bicycling, fishing, and hanging out with his family in his spare time.

Carlos was Chief Resident at Orlando Regional Medical Center from 1981-1984.
