Carl Marks Advisory Group Promotes Four Investment Bankers

NEW YORK, Jan. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Carl Marks Advisory Group LLC, the  corporate revitalization and investment banking firm headquartered in New York, announced the promotions of Evan M. Tomaskovic and Christopher K. Wu to partner for the investment banking group.  In addition, the firm announced the promotion of Charles Boguslaski to managing director and C. Scott Chabina to vice president.

Tomaskovic, who joined Carl Marks in 2005, has more than 15 years of investment banking experience.  He is primarily responsible for the delivery of the firm's financial advisory services, with a focus on restructurings and mergers and acquisitions.

Wu, who joined Carl Marks in 2003, has more than 15 years experience in investment banking, financial restructuring and principal investments.  He is a senior banker who advises companies, boards, creditors and investors on various aspects of mergers and acquisitions, capital sourcings, corporate reorganizations, insolvency and strategic matters.

Boguslaski brings more than 10 years of bankruptcy, financial restructuring and investment banking experience to his position at Carl Marks.  He is responsible for execution of the firm's mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital raises transactions, as well as financial restructurings and bankruptcy advisory.

With more than six years of investment banking and financial restructuring experience, Chabina focuses on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital raises, corporate finance and financial restructuring advisory services for the firm.
