Care Investment Trust Inc. Granted Summary Judgment in Briarwood IPO Suit
NEW YORK, Dec. 29, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Care Investment Trust Inc. (OTCQX: CVTR) ("Care" or the "Company"), a real estate investment and finance company formed to invest in healthcare-related real estate and commercial mortgage debt, reported that on December 22, 2010, it was granted summary judgment by the United States District Court of the Southern District of New York in Briarwood v. Care, a class action law suit brought in connection with the Company's IPO in 2007. The plaintiffs may appeal within 30 days after the summary judgment order or judgment is entered.
