NEW YORK, July 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Care Investment Trust Inc. (OTCQX: CVTR) ("Care" or the "Company"), a real estate investment and finance company that invests in healthcare-related real estate, today announced that its annual meeting of stockholders will be held at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time on Thursday, November 3, 2011. The meeting will be held at 780 Third Avenue, 29th Floor, New York, NY 10017. Stockholders of record as of the close of business on September 15, 2011, will be entitled to notice of and to vote at the annual meeting.
The deadline for stockholders to submit stockholder proposals under rule 14a-8 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended ("Rule 14a-8") for inclusion in the proxy materials for the 2011 annual meeting is the close of business on Friday, September 9, 2011.
