Rich Bourque, Mike Killius, and Michael Oetjen will round out Cardinal's unparalleled Business Development Team. In their current roles with Cardinal as Vice Presidents of Business Development, Bourque, Killius, and Oetjen are responsible for establishing new business relationships and increasing new and profitable sales growth.

Rich Bourque lends more than 30 years of Transportation, Logistics, and Supply Chain experience to Cardinal including leadership roles in operations, sales, driver recruiting, and outsourced 3rd party transportation management. His expertise has been vital to companies such as J.B. Hunt, Carlisle Carrier Corp/Carlisle Logistics Services, 3PLex, Exel Logistics, Penske Logistics, and Schneider National, where he previously worked for more than 18 years. The majority of Bourque's career in transportation has been devoted to sales, and he has worked with customers of all sizes to develop solutions in a variety of modes and services including: dedicated contract carriage, long-haul and regional truckload, intermodal, logistics management, and TMS software.
Mike Killius started his professional career with Ryder Integrated Logistics in 1986 and earned the Ryder President's Award in 1999. After working with Ryder, Killius started with CTI (presently CEVA Logistics) as General Manager – Dedicated Services in 1999. He then moved to Director of Business Development for the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector and was responsible for business development and account management in North America. He was awarded the TNT Logistics, North America – Paragon Award for outstanding sales achievement in 2003 and 2006. In 2008, Killius joined West Brothers Transportation Services, Inc. (now Brown Trucking) as Vice President, Integrated Logistics and was responsible for business development of dedicated contract carriage opportunities. He most recently served as Vice President, East at Brown Trucking with responsibility for the eastern half of the U.S, generating approximately $95M in revenue annually and including about 550 employees and associates.
Michael Oetjen began his career in the transportation industry in 1985 with Ryder Transportation Services and was inducted into the Ryder Round Table. Oetjen was then recruited by UPS Worldwide Dedicated Services in 1995 and became the first Central Region Manager for Worldwide Dedicated Services, representing the services of all six companies within the UPS Logistics Group in the Midwest. Later Oetjen was recruited by AmeriQuest Transportation and Logistics Resources as Director of National Sales, becoming one of the original five company founders, and responsible for product development and sales over the next ten years. Following Ameriquest's merger in 2006 with NationaLease, Oetjen assumed the role of VP of Integrated Logistics and was responsible for developing and expanding the product line. In 2010, Oetjen accepted the position of President of Success NationaLease and Success Logistics where he worked until he joined Cardinal.
