Card Player Media Expands into India

- First Indian Poker Magazine Launches in September 2010

Card Player Media is pleased to announce a new addition to its successful list of magazines around the world. The company has reached a licensing agreement with Rakesh Press, India, which will create a new version of Card Player magazine covering the India market.

It will be India's first poker magazine and the first issue will hit newsstands in September 2010.

The news comes soon after Card Player Media announced its second South American licensed magazine in Argentina and Uruguay.

Other international editions of the magazine include Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, UK and Ireland, Finland, France, Germany (online only), Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland (online only), and Canada.

This new edition will include content from Card Player USA along with local coverage of tournaments and players in the region.
