NEW YORK, Dec. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Carbon38, the online shopping destination for ultra-premium activewear, has launched its first-ever fashion collection called Carbon38.
Designed and manufactured locally in Los Angeles, the line is made up of high-end jackets, dresses, leggings, jumpsuits, sports bras and tops, ranging from $100 to $300. Carbon38 created an exclusive gray, white and black wave print inspired by the juxtaposition of the gritty and on-the-go NYC lifestyle with the laid-back beach cool of Los Angeles, which can be seen on the jacket, dress, blazer and leggings.
Founders Katie Warner Johnson and Caroline Gogolak drew inspiration from the woman who does it all. Their goal is to own every woman's wardrobe from 6am to 6pm and provide her with outfits that combine both performance and style.
"We launched with a mission to support women in all that they do each and every day and this collection is a further extension of that very principal," says Co-Founder Katie Warner Johnson. "These styles extend beyond the barre and provide the same support and ease as her activewear staples but in more of a ready-to-wear package."
Created with neoprene and compression fabric, each item in the collection is moisture-wicking for superior comfort, machine-washable, breathable, has the right amount of stretch and is wrinkle-free.
"We are blending activewear fabrics and construction with ready-to-wear silhouettes. The collection is transitional and can be worn in or out of the gym. Each piece performs with you throughout your day, whether that's riding at Soul Cycle or running around town," says Co-Founder Caroline Gogolak. "Long gone are the days of the grungy hoodie."
The fashion-forward collection launches today on Carbon38.com.
