Caraustar Announces Michelle W. Thornhill As Its New Operations Director to Its Recovered Fiber Group
ATLANTA, Jan. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Caraustar Industries, Inc. is proud to announce that Michelle W. Thornhill has joined Caraustar as Operations Director of the Recovered Fiber Group, effective January 9, 2012.
"Michelle will be accountable to lead the recycling plants to achieve performance targets in all aspects of the operations including safety, productivity, efficiencies, and results," stated Gregory B. Cottrell.
Michelle comes to Caraustar from SP Newsprint/SP Recycling Corporation where she most recently held the position of Vice President/General Manager SP Recycling Corporation. Michelle also held the positions of Regional Controller at SP Newsprint Corporation and Administrative Manager/Controller with Rock-Tenn (formerly MeadWestvaco) Stevenson, Alabama mill.
