Caraustar Announces Freight Surcharges on Paperboard Converted Products
ATLANTA, March 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Caraustar Industries, Inc. announced today that it will implement freight surcharges on shipments of paperboard converted products effective with shipments on and after April 1, 2011.
Robert Pender, Vice President, Industrial Products Group, stated, "Substantial recent increases in diesel fuel prices have dramatically increased the cost of doing business necessitating immediate cost recovery."
