CHICAGO, Dec. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Competing in the CapTech National Food Fight, CapTech Chicago raised $11,789 for the Greater Chicago Food Depository. The CapTech Food Fight is a friendly competition among the consulting firm's eight office locations to raise the most funds per capita for local food banks. The check presentation took place on December 7th.
"The creativity and excitement shown by the CapTech Chicago office in their fund raising is truly inspiring," said Greater Chicago Food Depository Food Drive Marketing Manager Mark Beers. "Fighting hunger in Cook County is truly a community effort, and I love how CapTech Chicago took this as an opportunity to strengthen and engage their office community while supporting our efforts to make sure no one goes hungry."
CapTech's National Food Fight, which takes place annually in November, raised over $115,000 for local food banks across the country in 2018. The Chicago office was the 2018 winner of the Food Fight, raising an impressive average of $232 per person.

The Greater Chicago Food Depository distributes an average of 200,000 pounds of food every day to people in need across Chicago and Cook County.
