CapTech® Engaged for Commonwealth of VA Website Redesign Project

RICHMOND, Va., May 21, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) awarded contracts to multiple suppliers including CapTech to perform a variety of eGovernment services in April 2012.  Through its new contract, CapTech is redesigning the state portal website, www.virginia.gov, with deliverables including enriched user experience/usability and enhanced web content management capabilities.  The CapTech team includes Big River for creative design and Sitecore for web content management software.  The CapTech team will design, re-architect, and deploy the site. "We will enhance the state's ability to manage its web content and provide citizens access to critical information under this new contract," states Adam Hofheimer, Director Government Solutions.
