Capitol Bancorp Completes Divestiture of Bank of Belleville

LANSING, Mich. and PHOENIX, April 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Capitol Bancorp Limited (NYSE: CBC) announced that it has completed the sale of Bank of Belleville to a group of local investors.  

Capitol's Chairman and CEO Joseph D. Reid said, "This is another step in our strategic initiative to deleverage our balance sheet and redeploy capital to those affiliates challenged by the economy."
