Capital Trust Announces Extension of CT Opportunity Partners I, LP Investment Period

NEW YORK, Dec. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Capital Trust, Inc. (NYSE: CT) today announced the extension of CT Opportunity Partners I, LP's investment period by nine months through September 13, 2012.  CT Opportunity Partners I, LP is a private commercial real estate debt opportunity fund managed by CT Investment Management Co., LLC, Capital Trust's wholly-owned investment management subsidiary.  CT Opportunity Partners I, LP has total equity commitments of $540 million from 24 institutional and individual investors.  The fund has made $468 million of investments and has undrawn equity capital commitments of $260 million.
