ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill., Dec. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Capital Forensics, Inc. (CFI), the leader in expert testimony, litigation support, compliance consulting and data surveillance, added industry veteran, Mike Sain, to their team of experts. After spending 30 years working with municipal bonds and fixed income products, Mike will support CFI's arbitration cases and regulatory matters.
Sain comes to CFI after brief retirement from Morgan Keegan/Raymond James where he was managing director for fixed income institutional sales in the dedicated municipal group. There, he successfully developed an institutional municipal sales group while expanding municipal trading, underwriting, and banking.
Mike's career began at Goldman Sachs in institutional sales of municipal tax-exempt fixed income products, where he eventually became vice president. While there, he also became an institutional municipal bond salesman on New York's municipal trading floor. He then moved into taxable fixed income institutional sales at Morgan Keegan. From there, Mike combined his experience as managing director at First Southwest in sales of both taxable and tax-exempt fixed income products. He later returned to Morgan Keegan, where he remained until his retirement.
"Mike brings impressive knowledge from managing a large client base of prominent firms, working with a plethora of taxable and tax-exempt fixed-income products, and involvement in both competitive and negotiated new issue underwriting. Mike even served five years as an NASD arbitrator, providing him with invaluable regulatory experience," said Vadim Khavinson, president of CFI. "We feel fortunate to add his expertise to CFI as we continue to build a team of world-class experts for our clients."
Mike earned an M.B.A. from the Owen School of Business at Vanderbilt University and a B.S. from Vanderbilt. Mr. Sain has held the series 3, 7 and 63 securities licenses.
