Steven Fields Joins CBC to Lead Business Development Efforts in Midwest
NEW YORK, March 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Capital Business Credit LLC (CBC) (www.capitalbusinesscredit.com), a global integrated financial products and services company, announced that Steven Fields has joined the organization to lead customer acquisition efforts for asset-based lending, factoring and trade finance programs in the Midwest.
Fields (age 53), brings to CBC more than 25 years of experience providing asset-based lending credit facilities to small, medium and large scale businesses across a diverse set of industries. He will serve as senior vice president, business development, and will be based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Fields will work directly with CBC's CEO, Marc Adelson, and Executive Chairman, Andrew Tananbaum, to provide asset-based lending and other financial products to small- and mid-sized businesses in the region.

Prior to joining CBC, Fields served as a founder and partner of Excel Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on acquiring small- to middle-market manufacturing companies. Prior to Excel Capital Partners, Fields spent 15 years at US Bank in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he served in various roles in the company's business credit and structured capital divisions. During his tenure, he developed and managed national origination teams to serve the middle and large corporate market. He also held positions at CitiCorp and First National Bank.
Fields has bachelor's degree in business administration and accounting from Indiana University.
