- Enterprise Solutions – Office and mobile workers can have easy print and scan access to their cloud content in Box using Canon's ADVANCE Cloud Portal (ACP) for imageRUNNER ADVANCE systems. Canon will also be presenting user-friendly demos using imageFORMULA document scanners to seamlessly integrate scanning for Box, helping to save time and improve convenience for scanner users. Bundled with Canon's CaptureOnTouch software, the imageFORMULA document scanners allow users to efficiently scan a document and save it directly to Box cloud storage, or scan directly from Box, providing flexibility for different user preferences. In addition, for mobile users, the CaptureOnTouch Mobile App* allows users to scan documents using their iOS/Android smart devices and send them directly to Box to accommodate on-the-go scanning.
- Financial Services & Insurance – A featured use case scenario on the show floor demonstrates how one financial services customer is using the combination of Canon and Box technology to empower branch office workers to securely access their content using their corporate credentials directly from Canon's imageRUNNER ADVANCE multifunction device.
- Healthcare & Life Sciences – Patient images are a critical component of overall healthcare delivery. Leveraging Canon's EOS Digital SLR cameras and Connect Station in combination with Box, Canon will demonstrate how healthcare professionals can take patient photos uploading the images to Box to be viewed from anywhere via Box's DICOM viewer. Canon's DICOM compatible Connect Station converts captured images from standard JPG to DICOM format while supporting WiFi and Near Field Communication (NFC) for easy uploading of images from the camera to the connect station to the cloud.
"Canon is pleased to present a number of enterprise solutions at BoxWorks, to demonstrate the strength of our collaboration with Box and our dedication to develop benchmark solutions that maximize efficiency for a host of vertical markets," said Tetsuhiro Minamide, President and CEO, Canon Information and Imaging Solutions.
