Canadian Tire voluntarily recalls Holiday Collection Outdoor M5 Mini LED Lights

TORONTO, Dec. 18, 2013 /CNW/ - On behalf of the manufacturer, He Shan Sliver Rain of China, Canadian Tire is voluntarily recalling the Holiday Collection 100 Outdoor M5 Mini LED Christmas Lights, warm white (Product #151-0781) as a precautionary measure due to a manufacturing defect which exposes the metal contact at the feed end of the LED lights, posing a potential safety hazard.

The affected units were sold between September 2013 and November 2013.

Customers who have purchased the recalled product should discontinue use and return it to any Canadian Tire store for a refund.
