NKPR's ANNUAL FILM FESTIVAL COUNTDOWN
On Wednesday, August 22, NKPR will once again host an evening event to kick-off the Toronto film festival. Held at a private residence, this year's event will celebrate the power of music in film with sponsors including Lise Watier, Hounds Vodka and Pusateri's. Guests in attendance will be treated to a musical performance by musician Fefe Dobson, with many additional surprises to be enjoyed throughout the evening.
IT HOUSE x PRODUCERS BALL
Kicking off on September 6 and running through September 8, in collaboration with Scott Brothers Entertainment (Brother vs. Brother, Property Brothers at Home), NKPR will co-create a landmark destination, the IT House x Producers Ball. In its third year, the IT House x Producers Ball will move locations, and will be headquartered out of Live Nation Canada's The Lounge in Liberty Village. With a music and film theme, the IT House x Producers Ball will deliver an experiential hub lending itself to celebrity, media and consumer experiences.
To celebrate the best of the film industry, this year the IT House x Producers Ball will include a Rolling Stone celebrity portrait studio, programming centered around industry panels and thought leadership, and unique sponsored activations from presenting sponsors including Hounds Vodka, Swarovski and Groupe Marcelle. NKPR's IT House has been an integral part of Toronto's film festival culture serving as a sanctuary for media, talent and VIPs looking to recharge and relax during the hustle of the festival. On the evening of Friday, September 7th, the IT House will once again present the Producers Ball Gala, in its eighth year, hosted by Drew and Jonathan Scott, which invites producers, talent, and directors to celebrate accomplishments within the TV, film and digital media production industry. ARTISTS FOR PEACE AND JUSTICE FESTIVAL GALA PRESENTED BY BOVET 1822
Natasha Koifman, alongside Zoomer Magazine Editor-in-Chief Suzanne Boyd, will co-chair the 10th annual Artists for Peace and Justice (APJ) Gala presented by Bovet 1822 an organization that works in direct partnership with communities in Haiti and around the world, creating pathways out of poverty by expanding access to education and providing training in creative industries. This year's event will take place on Saturday, September 8th at the Windsor Arms Hotel, and will be co-hosted by an influential team including Ben Stiller, Susan Sarandon, Jackson Browne, Maxwell, Yannick & Shantelle Bisson and more. This year, the organization that has raised over $30M to support education in Haiti, will be giving three special awards:
- Peace and Justice Award, honouree(s) to be announced shortly!
- Lifetime Achievement Award, honouring Harry Belafonte
- APJ Canadian Changemaker Award, honouring David and Kate Daniels
