Campus Sponsorship Partners with Zoomerang for First Nationwide Campaign
Student organizations at more than 50 universities raise funds by answering surveys
SAN FRANCISCO and PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 4, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Enabling students to go beyond traditional fundraising methods, Campus Sponsorship, a new social networking start-up, is partnering with Zoomerang, a leading online survey and polling tool, to launch the website's first nationwide campaign.
Campus Sponsorship allows students at more than 50 universities nationwide to generate funds for school-affiliated organizations. Launched in June 2010, the social media platform connects brands with college students in an innovative way. Brands donate to a student's organization of choice each time the student completes a branded survey or game, shares the brand on Facebook, or signs up for the brand's service.
"Campus Sponsorship has seen phenomenal growth and demand from college students," said Dan Levin, CEO of Campus Sponsorship. "We're confident that our partnership with Zoomerang will show that we can deliver real, tangible ROI for brands looking to reach the college market through social media."
As a partner, Zoomerang will donate up to $0.50 to student organizations when a student answers a Zoomerang poll and posts it to their Facebook page for others to answer. Students can complete this action up to three times a week. Additionally, extra funds can be earned by signing up for a free Zoomerang account that can be used year-round.
"Campus Sponsorship provides a valuable opportunity for Zoomerang to reach college students, while benefiting organizations on campuses nationwide," said Alex Terry, General Manager of Zoomerang. "As we look to further integrate surveys with social media, working with college students will help influence our product development."
Currently, many college and graduate students, as well as educators, are utilizing surveys and polls to run class elections, for class research projects, to plan parties and conferences, to gather feedback on events or just for fun.
Students are encouraged to share survey links on Facebook to maximize the donation to their respective organization and can get started by visiting www.CampusSponsorship.com. To take advantage of the one-time bonus from Zoomerang, students can sign-up for the free Basic account via Campus Sponsorship.

About Campus Sponsorship
Campus Sponsorship is the first website that allows college students to interact with advertisers in exchange for donations to their organization or charity of choice. Students raise money by completing short, fun, branded activities such as puzzles, quizzes, polls, or watching and rating a video. Students then post the activities on Facebook and other social platforms, encouraging friends of friends to help raise money, and making the online activities extremely viral. Each activity is sponsored by an advertiser and uniquely designed to drive specific advertiser objectives. For more information, visit www.CampusSponsorship.com.
