The market research night is a joint collaboration by Campus Management with AT&T, Cisco, Microsoft and FairChoice Systems. The event will be hosted by Casey Green, founding director of the Campus Computing Project, the largest continuing study of the role of information technology in American colleges and universities.
"Mobile apps and new platforms abound, both on campus and off. Institutions face exponential demand and need to develop a mobility strategy," said Tim Gilbert, chief marketing officer of Campus Management. "This forum will provide IT leaders in higher education an opportunity to share their visions, experiences, and concerns with the market leaders in mobile applications and infrastructure."
The joint sponsors of the event seek to gather input and insight into mobile apps on campus, including:
- What is driving demand for mobile applications?
- What role can vendors and service providers bring to the table?
- How are institutions prioritizing or controlling the proliferation of apps and platforms?
- What are administrators and academic constituents saying about mobility?
In addition to the information covered during the research event, all event participants will receive a free copy of the executive summary created by Campus Computing immediately following the event.
