Former Members Outline a New Report from the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget and Announce Congressional Fiscal Leadership Council

WASHINGTON, Feb. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, February 11, Maya MacGuineas, president of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget and head of the Campaign to Fix the Debt, will join former Senators Kent Conrad, Judd Gregg, and Blanche Lincoln; Former Governor Ed Rendell; and Former Representatives Jim Nussle and Steven LaTourette to outline a new report from the Committee for a Responsible Budget ("Our Debt Problems are Far From Solved") and announce the newly formed Congressional Fiscal Leadership Council. The Council will also urge the President and Congressional leaders to prioritize the forging of a comprehensive debt deal in the weeks and months to come—beginning with the President's State of the Union address and Members' responses on Tuesday, February 12.
