Campaign for America's Future Launches Ad Campaign Telling Democrats, 'Ignore Obstructionist Republicans, Pass Health Reform Now'

CAF Airs Radio Spots in Key Congressional Districts in Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia

WASHINGTON, March 3 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Campaign for America's Future, working with a group of private citizens frustrated with the slow pace of health care reform, this week launched a media campaign in key congressional districts urging Democratic Members of Congress to support health care reform and ignore the criticisms of Republicans who are putting political interests above the well-being of Americans.

"The advertisements are meant to inform and energize independents and rank-and-file Democratic supporters to push forward and encourage their Representatives to pass meaningful legislation during this Congressional session," said Roger Hickey, co-director of Campaign for America's Future. The campaign will begin with a radio advertisement entitled, "Reform Now," which will air on stations in New York, N.Y., Philadelphia, Pa., Detroit, Mich., Columbus, Ohio and Charlottesville, Va.
