MIAMI, May 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Lucky number 7 is Cameron's new mantra with a new album which has two #1 singles and four top 10 hits on the dance charts. Her current hit 'Drive' was not only in the Top 150 on the US Mediabase/BDS charts, but has landed on over 90 European radio stations, hitting No. 12 on the Independent European Music Chart.
The luck has continued for Cameron who performed during the Kentucky Derby weekend this month, while earlier she sang for the NFL's Giants vs. Steelers game, not to mention performing with the famous Wrecking Crew at Hollywood's Baked Potato during Grammy weekend and the National Cherry Blossom festival in Washington, DC. Kim was also this year's presenter at the Winter Music Conference and headliner for the March of Dimes event in New York. This summer, Kim and the band will be performing weekly in the dance music town of Miami, on 'Groovy Tuesday Nites' at the House of Rock.
'No Regrets' is Cameron's 7th album, which has a mixture of dance and what she calls 'dance groove' recordings. "I wanted to record something that sounded fresh, that people could dance to, but could also just hang," explained Cameron. She brought in some heavy hitters when it came to the remixes including London's Wideboys, the USA's DJ Riddler, and Germany's own Tom Novy.
Staying true to her need to write about love, each song about new, old and even hard relationships. Vocals on the album hit new ranges for Cameron with harmonies that add the right layers to the exact right places. Big builds throughout each record along with memorable hooks but limited synth melodies with more emphasis on the bass line. To listen to the full album, Spotify and Pandora are currently featuring 'No Regrets.'
Billboard Producer and lead producer of the album, Kevin Rockhill says,"Kim Cameron infuses her playful and original vocal style with vivid songwriting and pop sensibility."
As soon as Kim decided is was time to take a break from writing songs this fall, the words would not stop flowing. A new approach to EDM, pop and dance mixed together that, as Kim says, "Make you fall in love with new music all over again."
