Cambridge, OH Latest City to Join The Sparta Commercial Municipal Lease Program
NEW YORK, Sept. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sparta Commercial Services, Inc. (OTCBB: SRCO) today announced that the City of Cambridge, Ohio has become the fifth municipality in the state of Ohio, and the latest jurisdiction in the country to become a participant in Sparta's continually growing Municipal Lease Program.
Cambridge, Ohio, like numerous other municipalities before them, decided that Sparta's Municipal Lease Program was a better, more economical choice when it came to replacing the Dodge Charger Police Cruisers in their police department fleet with new 2012 models. The Sparta program allows any state, city, county, or local jurisdiction to acquire the essential equipment they need, and to pay for it over time, rather than the traditional "all up-front" purchasing method. With the Sparta alternative, governmental agencies can acquire virtually any type of asset class, from busses to trucks, EMS, fire equipment, police motorcycles, cruisers, tactical vehicles, surveillance equipment, and more, while conserving funds in their annual budgets.
Nolan Gierhart, Fleet Manager at Coughlin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Marysville, Ohio, the vendor for the vehicles for this transaction, said, "This is our third experience working with Sparta's Municipal Lease Division, and it continues to be seamless. They really understand the dealer's position in these types of transactions, and they make the process smooth and easy."
Suellen Johnson, the City of Cambridge Auditor, added, "Although this is our first time working with the Sparta program, their highly professional and knowledgeable staff made it easy and comfortable for us. I definitely look forward to working with them again in the future."
