Cambridge Analytica Appoints New Vice Presidents of Political Division
WASHINGTON, June 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Cambridge Analytica, the market leader in data analytics and behavioral communications, today announced the appointment of Ben Shankle and Laquan Austion as Vice Presidents to jointly lead the company's political operations in Washington D.C.

Shankle has extensive experience as a government relations professional, attorney, and campaign consultant with a focus on data analytics and political operations. He has worked in Republican politics since 2007, both at the national level and the state level throughout the southeast. Most recently he spent two years as the Data Director for the Republican Party of Florida, providing strategic advice to help elect candidates up and down the ticket during the 2016 cycle.
Austion comes to Cambridge Analytica with over 15 years of political and community organizing experience. He most recently worked on Lyft's Government Relations team where he oversaw all east coast markets. Throughout his career, he has developed strong political analysis and advocacy skills, helping several Senate and House members win their election bids. Laquan got his start in politics working in the Strategy Division of the Republican National Committee.
