ROCKVILLE, Md., Oct. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH), one of the world's largest hotel companies, along with developer City Point Capital, announced the groundbreaking of the Cambria Hotel South Boston. Located at 6 West Broadway, the 159-room property is expected to open in 2019.

The Cambria Hotel South Boston is conveniently located right outside of downtown Boston in one of the fastest growing communities in the country, which includes a popular neighborhood for young professionals as well as emerging technology companies. The property sits directly across from the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority's Red Line T station, providing easy access to all points in the city as well as Cambridge. The hotel is also just minutes away from the Boston Convention Center, the Seaport District, world-class restaurants, popular historical and cultural attractions, as well as several corporations, such as Gillette, General Electric, Liberty Mutual and Wayfair.
