Cambium Networks Appoints Technology Industry Veteran Sally Rau As General Counsel

Rau joins executive team as company grows portfolio and expands globally, role encompasses head of compliance

ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill., Feb. 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cambium Networks™, a global leading provider of wireless broadband solutions, today announced the appointment Sally Rau to general counsel. In her new position, Rau brings 30 years of experience in advising global companies as a law firm partner and in-house counsel on matters ranging from corporate compliance and governance to cross-border mergers.

To the company, Rau brings a wealth of experience in compliance; intellectual property and licensing; initial public offerings; securities law; and mergers and acquisitions for domestic and international companies. Prior to joining Cambium Networks, Rau was chief administrative officer, general counsel and corporate secretary for Velti, a mobile marketing and advertising company with operations in the U.S., Europe, Asia, South America and the Middle East. For over a decade prior to her tenure at Velti, Rau was a partner at DLA Piper where she represented a range of public and private technology companies. Earlier in her career, Rau spent six years in London as general counsel for Cronos Containers Limited, an international container leasing company. She earned her J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law and her B.A. in history from the University of California, Berkeley.
