Cambium Networks Appoints Bryan Sheppeck As SVP Of Worldwide Sales
ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill., Jan. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cambium Networks™, a global leading provider of wireless broadband solutions, today announced the appointment of communications industry veteran Bryan Sheppeck to senior vice president of worldwide sales. In his new role, Sheppeck brings over 20 years of sales leadership experience in high-growth areas of communications, boosting sales and channel capabilities and delivering maximum technical and business impact for customers.
"At Cambium Networks, we see tremendous opportunity for connectivity in multiple areas including sensors and devices, developing communities with little to no access to the Internet and broadband capacity upgrades to meet end users' demanding requirements for streaming services," said Atul Bhatnagar, president and CEO, Cambium Networks. "Cambium Networks has the innovative heritage to see even the most complex connectivity challenges satisfied. Bryan's proven track record with enterprise and service provider customers further positions us for revenue growth and success in new markets."
Before joining Cambium Networks, Sheppeck led global sales for Aspect Software, a leader in contact center and customer engagement software applications serving a variety of vertical segments led by telecom, utilities and financial services. Previously, as Avaya's vice president of sales responsible for service provider alliances, Sheppeck oversaw the integration of Nortel and Avaya channel programs. Earlier in his career, he served as vice president for applications sales at Alcatel-Lucent, following his success in building the global sales and customer service organizations at Telica, which was acquired by Lucent. He also led sales for AccessLan (now Tellabs), wireless sales for DSC (now Alcatel-Lucent) and federal sales for TTC (now JDSU).
"I've spent my entire career, since leaving the Navy, in communications sales," said Bryan Sheppeck, senior vice president, worldwide sales. "Cambium Networks' market potential in the wireless and broadband industries is tremendous, and the company's growth trajectory creates the sales environment that I am particularly adept at leading and feel most passionate about. I look forward to increasing global traction for our end-to-end solutions, driving growth by strengthening Cambium Networks geographical footprint and extending our leadership into new vertical markets."
