CamberView Partners Receives Long-Term Strategic Investment from Corsair Capital

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CamberView Partners, LLC, the leading provider of independent, investor-led advice to public companies in connection with investor engagement, contested situations, and complex and challenging corporate governance issues, today announced that it is pleased to welcome Corsair Capital, LLC as a long-term investor in its business. Corsair Capital is one of the longest-standing private equity firms focused on the financial services industry. 

The partnership will provide CamberView with Corsair Capital's deep expertise in growing financial services firms. It will also enable CamberView to capitalize on Corsair Capital's extensive executive and shareholder relationships in Europe and the US both to expand the global reach of CamberView's platform and to meet the growing demand of public companies and their boards for sophisticated, investor-based advice regarding complex shareholder matters. As part of the transaction, Corsair Capital will receive a substantial minority stake in CamberView and director representation on its board. The existing CamberView team will continue in place with the day-to-day management of the firm and the execution of client engagements and will retain majority representation on its board of directors.
