Camber Corporation names Rebecca Garcia Vice President of Business Development for National Intelligence and Special Operations Division

CENTREVILLE, Va., Dec. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Camber Corporation announced Rebecca Garcia will serve as the new Vice President of Business Development supporting the National Intelligence and Special Operations (NISO) Division.

In her new role, Garcia will drive business through new partnerships with services, academia and COTS vendors; taking existing core NISO solutions to new customers (from intelligence analysis, linguists, training, big data, identity intelligence, special operations and system integration). In addition, Garcia will take Camber's corporate solutions, such as cyber and modeling & simulation, to existing NISO customers.

Prior to joining Camber, Garcia served as director of SAS Federal's national security group where she was responsible for the company's delivery of analytic offerings to the intelligence community and a number of law enforcement agencies. Previously, she worked at L-3 Communications, Northrop Grumman and The Boeing Company. Garcia was primarily responsible for large contract wins such as STREET at $600M award from the Open Source Center/DNI, Ambulate $300M award from MPO, and EPM a $150M award (that grew to over $500M) from MPO.

Garcia received her BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina Greensboro and has taken Executive Classes from the University of Chicago in Capture.
