Camber Awarded A Three Year Contract By Crane's Naval Surface Warfare Center

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Feb. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Camber Corporation announced today that it was awarded a contract by the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) - Crane Division to support the Navy's Center for Security Forces, Joint Forces Training & Support Branch (JFT&SB).  The Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract, which went into effect October 2013, has a one-year base with two one-year option periods and a total value of approximately $20 million. Work will be performed within the continental US at multiple locations.

Located on the third largest naval installation in the world, NSWC Crane is a field activity of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) that provides comprehensive support for complex military systems spanning development, deployment and sustainment in three mission areas: Electronic Warfare/Information Operations, Special Missions and Strategic Missions.  Under the contract, Camber's team will bring its recognized standard of excellence in joint training and warfighter support to JFT&SB, Center for Security Forces (CENSECFOR) through curriculum development and classroom instruction, small arms weapons training and maintenance, night vision devices, and small boats.  Camber additionally will develop computer-based training media for E-Learning and instructor and mechanical support.
