Green Computing Leader Selects Exar's XRP7724 For Optimized Power
FREMONT, Calif., Feb. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Exar Corporation (Nasdaq: EXAR), a leading supplier of high performance analog mixed-signal components and data management solutions, today announced that Calxeda, the company that is already reinventing the datacenter with its ARM® technology, has selected Exar's PowerXR XRP7724 for optimized power delivery. Leveraging the dynamic control and programmability of Exar's PowerXR technology, Calxeda has engineered their server power systems with dynamic voltage control for the lowest power consumption. The XRP7724 flash based memory provides customers the ability to improve power system optimization with system firmware upgrades.
