Calvac Paving's President Passes CASp Exams, is Now a Certified Access Specialist
The President of Calvac Paving has Been Certified by the State of California to have Specialized Knowledge of the Applicability of State and Federal Construction-Related Accessibility Standards
SAN JOSE, Calif., June 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Jim Adam, the president of Calvac Paving in San Jose, California, is pleased to announce that he recently acquired CASp certification. After passing his CASp exams, Jim is now a Certified Access Specialist.
As Jim explained, the voluntary Certified Access Specialist (CASp) program is designed to meet the public's need for experienced, tested and trained people who can inspect buildings and sites to be sure they are compliant with any applicable state and federal construction-related accessibility standards.
As the result of Jim's recent CASp acquisition, he is now certified by the State of California to have specialized knowledge of these standards.
"I acquired my CASp to best serve our clients," Jim said, adding that the seeming labyrinth of regulations and standards that affect Property Owners, Property Managers and Business Owners needed to be straightened out and made more transparent.
"By training for years to understand the history, goals and application of the Americans with Disabilities Act I am better equipped to provide Calvac's clients with a final product that will provide the barrier removal and access that the current CBC and ADAS require on their properties."
In addition, Jim said, as a Stakeholder in his clients' businesses he knows it is well-worth every hour that he dedicated to this ongoing education in order to remove the burden that many Barrier Removal Projects can become.
"I thank all of our great clients that have been long term Stakeholders in Calvac for their support and confidence that made this Certification possible."
Anybody who has worked with Calvac Paving will not be surprised to learn that Jim took it upon himself to earn his CASp certification. Since Calvac Paving first opened in 1974, it has earned a well-deserved reputation for its dedication to its customers.
