Calling All Motivated Young Humanitarians: Montage Hotels & Resorts Awarding $50,000 in College Scholarships
Third annual Montage Memory Maker contest will award five winners with a $10,000 scholarship to an accredited college or university
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif., Sept. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Montage Hotels & Resorts is empowering young humanitarians with scholarships to fulfill their higher education goals with the third annual Montage Memory Makers contest. The luxury hotel company is in search of community leaders between the ages of 13-17 years old who are making the world a better place. Winning entries will be based on the following: 1) Ongoing community service or volunteering efforts, 2) Achievements that have made a meaningful impact in their community or beyond, and 3) How their community service inspires others.
Individuals who meet the contest requirements are encouraged to enter the contest by visiting https://www.montagehotels.com/montage-memory-makers-scholarship/ to upload a three-hundred (300) word essay (mandatory), and additional material detailing how they inspire and provide service to their communities. Entries will be accepted from now through November 9, 2015. Winners will be formally announced January 4, 2016.

Ten finalists will be selected by Montage Hotels & Resorts after November 9, and the final five winners will be chosen by a panel of judges, including:

Each winner will be awarded $10,000 to their accredited college or university. Additionally, they will receive a two-night stay at one of the Montage properties in the Continental U.S., including Montage Beverly Hills, Montage Laguna Beach, Montage Deer Valley and The Inn at Palmetto Bluff, a Montage Resort; one 30-minute mentor session via phone with one of our guest judges, and a feature in the spring 2016 issue of Montage Magazine.
