Calley B. Miller Receives Crawford's Greg Threet Memorial Scholarship

ATLANTA, May 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Crawford & Company (NYSE: CRDA; CRDB), the world's largest independent provider of claims management solutions, recently named Calley B. Miller, a senior majoring in accounting and finance at Morehead State University, as the fifth recipient of its Greg Threet Memorial Scholarship.

Miller, from Corbin, Ky., maintains a 4.0 grade point average and is a top student in the accounting and finance program at Morehead State, receiving several academic honors from the university and external organizations. She serves as vice president of membership for the university's accounting club and as an ambassador working with prospective students of the College of Business and Public Policy.

Miller also has participated in a variety of community activities, including collecting food donations, sponsoring children in a Christmas program and donating to the HOPE Pregnancy Center. She was highly recommended for the $2,500 annual scholarship by L.K. Williams, professor of accounting at Morehead State, located in Morehead, Ky.

The Greg Threet Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Greg Threet, who was an assistant branch manager in Crawford's U.S. Property & Casualty office in Lexington, Ky.
