MIAMI, Oct. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Calle 13, Franco De Vita with Alejandra Guzman, Mana with Prince Royce, Shakira, Sie7e, and Marco Antonio Solis are the first performers announced for the 12th Annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards (www.latingrammy.com) telecast, it was announced today by The Latin Recording Academy®. Cristian de la Fuente and Lucero will co-host the Latin music industry's premier event and confirmed to present are actors Angelique Boyer, Sandra Echeverria, Adamari Lopez, Sebastian Rulli, Zoe Saldana, and David Zepeda. The biggest night in Latin music is set for Nov. 10 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and will air live on the Univision Network (www.univision.com) from 8 - 11 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central). Ten-time Latin GRAMMY and two-time GRAMMY® winners Calle 13 lead this year's Latin GRAMMY nominations with a record 10 nominations: Album Of The Year and Best Urban Music Album for Entren Los Que Quieran; Album Of The Year, as producers, for Shakira's Sale El Sol; Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year for "Latinoamerica"; Best Urban Song for "Baile De Los Pobres"; Best Alternative Song and Best Short Form Music Video for "Calma Pueblo"; Best Tropical Song for "Vamo' A Portarnos Mal"; and Producer Of The Year.

Three-time Latin GRAMMY winner Marco Antonio Solis is up for four awards: Song Of The Year and Best Regional Mexican Song for "A Donde Vamos A Parar?," Best Male Pop Vocal Album for En Total Plenitud, and Best Regional Mexican Song for "Tu Me Vuelves Loco."
Four-time Latin GRAMMY winners Mana have three nominations: Best Rock Album and Best Long Form Music Video for Drama Y Luz, and Best Short Form Music Video for "Lluvia Al Corazon."
Seven-time Latin GRAMMY winner, two-time GRAMMY winner and the 2011 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year Shakira has three nods: Album Of The Year and Best Female Pop Album for Sale El Sol; and Best Short Form Music Video for "Loca."
Latin GRAMMY winner Alejandra Guzman is a two-time nominee: Record Of The Year and Best Short Form Music Video for "Tan Solo Tu" (with Franco De Vita).
Sie7e is up for two awards: Best New Artist and Best Alternative Song for "Tengo Tu Love."
The 12th Latin GRAMMY Awards will be supported on radio via Univision Radio (the official Spanish-language radio network of the Latin GRAMMY Awards), and highlighted on the Internet at www.latingrammy.com and www.univisionmusica.com, including video interviews and photos, an extensive archive of past shows, and dedicated forums for fans to share their excitement leading up to the live broadcast. Additionally, the telecast will be distributed internationally to more than 100 countries.
For the first time ever, LatinGRAMMY.com will feature Latin GRAMMYs en Vivo, which will feature live coverage of the 12th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards and interviews from various locations including the green carpet, the Pre-Telecast Ceremony, backstage, and the media center, beginning at 1:30 p.m. PT.
Preceding the Awards telecast, Univision will present exclusive "Noche De Estrellas" ("Night Of The Stars") coverage of the celebrity arrivals direct from the Latin GRAMMY Awards green carpet starting at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. Central). Presented by "Nuestra Belleza Latina" host Giselle Blondet and "Sal Y Pimienta" host Lourdes Stephen, "Noche De Estrellas" will feature live interviews and commentary on the stars and their fashions, and will provide viewers an intimate and up-close look at Latin music's most glamorous gala event.
