SANTA CLARA, Calif., Jan. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- California's Great America, Santa Clara's 5th largest employer, is now accepting applications to fill approximately 2,500 positions for the exciting 2013 season. All applicants should begin the employment process online at www.cagreatamerica.com/jobs.

There are two distinct category options for interested individuals. Applications are currently being accepted for a myriad of park staff positions, including Emergency Medical Technicians, Guest Services, Ride Operators, Lifeguards, Concessions, Security Personnel, Merchandise, Game Attendants and Admissions Staffers.

Additionally, from February 4–17 California's Great America will conduct casting calls throughout the Bay Area to fulfill entertainment and event technician positions for the upcoming season. Available performance positions include Show Hosts, Theater and Pop Singers, Dancers (Modern, Jazz and Hip Hop), Character Actors, Theater Attendants and Event Technicians, Scenic Artists and Sculptors, Costumers, Stage Managers and more.

Casting locations include Ohlone College, San Jose State University, Christopher High School, Foothill College, West Valley College and California's Great America (site specific locations and times are listed online). All audition candidates should complete an online application prior to arriving. Those attending a casting location need to arrive 30 minutes prior and will be auditioned in order of arrival.
