California Jury Rules In Favor Of IMAGE Skincare And Returns Verdict Against Aesthetics Plus And Metaxia Dalikas

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Sept. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- On Tuesday, September 1, 2015 a Sacramento County jury found in favor of IMAGE Skincare, one of the fastest-growing skincare companies in the U.S., in a lawsuit against its former distributor Aesthetics Plus, co-owned and operated by Metaxia Dalikas, alleging claims for breach of contract and intentional concealment.

After a five-week trial, the jury found that Aesthetics Plus, who previously served as IMAGE Skincare's exclusive distributor in the West Coast, and Dalikas had intentionally concealed its development and marketing of its competitive line of skin care products and that they intended to deceive IMAGE Skincare by concealing the true facts causing IMAGE Skincare to reasonable rely to its detriment. The jury further found that Aesthetics Plus had breached its agreement to act in good faith and fairly towards IMAGE Skincare. IMAGE Skincare was awarded significant monetary damages in addition to litigation costs.
